There is a storm coming that is already affecting EMS departments and providers nationwide: the downward spiral of provider resiliency, fitness, wellness and longevity. As you know, traditional "wellness" programs fail to meet the needs of first responders. What shift work, stress and circadian rhythm disruption do to responders both hormonally and physiologically is not tested during traditional medical physicals. This class will take an in-depth look at what new research has shown is truly breaking our responders and will provide leaders with an evidence-based approach to making wellness and injury prevention programs work.
