Presentation on the development of the UK JRCALC national guideline on the clinical management of older people who fall. the process including an international evidence review, an expert consensus group providing expert opinion and the guideline which includes the assessment and clinical management of medical and trauma conditions in the older person. The guideline also includes advice on the process for considering how to safely manage a patient in the community without transfer to hospital.
