A Potentially Deadly Miss: The Young, Healthy-Appearing Syncope Patient

The death of young, healthy-appearing patients leaves many asking why. Yet frequently there are symptoms leading to the event that include syncope and near-syncope. This lecture will address the most common causes of sudden death in the young, with the hope of leaving participants with a deeper understanding of how important the assessment of syncope is in these patients.
