Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Children with special healthcare needs, especially those who are technology dependent, frighten most prehospital providers. In this presentation, what a provider should do when the technology upon which the child is dependent suddenly stops working will be covered. Technology discussed will include ventilators, tracheostomies, and G tubes, as well as transport considerations when the child’s medical equipment is involved. Additionally, home medication administration for select rare diseases will be discussed.
