NASEMSO's National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines: Using Data and Evidence

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Model EMS clinical guidelines promote uniformity in prehospital care which, in turn, promotes more consistent practice as EMS providers move across healthcare systems. They also provide a standard to EMS medical directors upon which to base practice. The inaugural NASEMSO National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines was released in September 2014 and was accessed by EMS medical directors, providers, agencies, and administrators locally, nationally, and internationally.   The second edition includes new and updated guidelines based upon current research, newly released evidence-based guidelines, and pairing with the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS).
