Data & Tech Summit: Things That Make You Go 'Hmm...': Finding Signals in the Noise of EMS Data

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Do you have an interest in what all that data you enter into your medical records is useful for? Dr. Jeff Jarvis will take you on a journey of data-driven discovery using a large national EMS data set in which he will ask and answer questions such as which factors are associated with sustained ROSC in cardiac arrest? Are there any differences in which type of patients get pain relief? Does it really matter that you are "just around the corner" from the ED when considering a treatment? The aim is to provide interesting factoids found in the data, show there really is a use for all that information you put into your ePCR, and inspire you to use the data you have to answer clinical questions.
