Data & Tech Summit: Implementing New Technology: Don’t Forget About the People, Pt. I

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

EMS services are using more technology systems than ever before. From CAD to ePCR, communication platforms to data analytics software, agencies frequently find themselves implementing new technologies and confronted by multiple challenges, including choosing the right solution, integrating with legacy platforms, upgrading hardware and training staff. During each step, EMS systems often fall into the trap of focusing on the technology, and not on their people. New technologies cannot fix problems—they provide a platform on which people can solve problems. Leaders who neglect to understand that end up wasting money and frustrating their workforce. This session provides you with ways to avoid that trap, ensuring that you put people first when implementing and using any new technology.
