Teaching Without Lecturing: The Flipped Classroom Model

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Based on the concepts of active learning, engagement, and hybrid course design, flipping the classroom is your ticket to providing successful learning experiences for your students. Facilitators will be presenting the science behind a curriculum that is learner-centered, where class time is spent doing application and problem solving activities instead of lecturing and PowerPoint. You’ll actually get to see and use some flipped classroom materials and activities so that you know how to integrate them into your classes as you move toward this model of teaching. This session is appropriate for primary and continuing education instructors at all levels.
